On February 5, 1821 the State of Maine signed a private and special law enacting the Incorporation of the Town of Canton.
To help celebrate, and in conjunction with the Canton Bicentennial Committee, the Historical Society will offer special hours for guests from near and far to visit our museum and reflect upon the rich history we have here in Canton.
The museum will have a special exhibit celebrating the 200 years.
New items will be added to the permanent display.

A special bonus on Friday and Saturday,
upstairs in the Hayford Hall there will be two special exhibits.
